Submit Your Film to the Cannelle Film Festival
The Cannelle Film Festival is soliciting submissions! If you’ve been seeking a creative outlet, this is a perfect chance to share your vision and see your film screened at the Festival. No camera? No editing software? No problem. You’re welcome to use official Festival equipment to produce your opus.
It looks like you’re out of excuses.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Films must be longer than 1 minute and shorter than 10 minutes.
- Films must be in a standard video format (.avi, .mp4, .mpg, .wmv).
- Films must be submitted via physical disc, which will not be returned. To arrange pickup/delivery please contact the festival organizers.
- Submitting a film is free. Donations will be welcome at the festival.
Films must be accompanied by the following information:
- TITLE
- YEAR MADE
- RUNNING TIME
- LANGUAGE
- DIRECTOR
- WILL THE FILM BE PREMIERING AT THE FESTIVAL?
- SHORT SYNOPSIS (less than 100 words)
- CONTACT PERSON
- CONTACT EMAIL
You may also submit PHOTOGRAPHS/ART for use in festival materials. These should be at a resolution of at least 150 dpi.
A panel of judges will vote on films to determine winners of the following prizes.
- Grand Prix (Grand Prize – Best Film)
- Premier Prix (First Prize)
- Deuxième Prix (Second Prize)
- Troisième Prix (Third Prize)
- Bâton de Cannelle (Cinnamon Stick/Judges Choice)
Films will be screened outdoors with projector and screen that have yet to be acquired. Got projecting equipment that you’re willing to let us use? Tell us.
